Sweet Pass Sculpture Park is a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization founded in 2018 by artists and educators Tamara Johnson and Trey Burns as an extension of their practices. Conceived in response to a lack of opportunities for experimental, temporary, and large-scale outdoor projects in Texas, Sweet Pass occupies the gaps between gardens, green spaces, and public commons. Sweet Pass has received support from the National Endowment for the Arts, Foundation for Contemporary Art (FCA), The Arts Community Alliance (TACA), City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture, Ignite/Arts Dallas, and Nasher Sculpture Center.
